Vote for Carolyn - NNSW CEO

Ku-ring-gai Netball Association, Mon Feb 11, 2019 7:49PM

As President of KNA I have pleasure in advising that Netball NSW CEO Carolyn Campbell has been nominated for NSW Business Woman of the Year.

During her tenure Carolyn has overseen the planning, construction and subsequent relocation of Netball NSW’s HQ to the purpose-built netball facility in Sydney Olympic Park – Netball Central and led Netball NSW on a journey to the Suncorp Super Netball competition including the introduction of GIANTS.   She has led Netball NSW to success in growing the membership base, which in 2018 announced record registrations of over 115,000 members, while both professional teams – our NSW Swifts and GIANTS Netball – saw double-digit growth in their membership bases.

Carolyn has also been at the forefront of the development of a new shared training base for the NSW Swifts with long-time partners, the Sydney Swans, at Sydney’s Moore Park which was announced in late 2018. She advocated strongly on behalf of our netball community for a new roof on the Ken Rosewall Arena at Sydney Olympic Park’s Tennis Centre which in January was announced as going ahead. This venue will double as a new 10,000-seat home venue for both the NSW Swifts and GIANTS Netball from 2020 and will bring very positive impacts for netball in New South Wales - not only for our elite players and fans, but to the delivery of netball for all of us.

The winner of the NSW Business Women of the Year Award is voted for by the public and I would like to ask you to join me in voting and spreading the word.

Voting closes on Friday 15 February. You can vote by CLICKING HERE.

Kind regards,

Jo-Anne Perry

KNA President
